Our weekend will begin Friday, May 18th from 7-9:30pm and continue Saturday, May 19th from 9am-5pm. Doors will open 30 minutes prior for registration and snacks. Childcare will be provided on a limited basis for those who need it. Lunch is not included but a list and map of restaurants in walking distance of Reality will be provided at registration.

While this event will focus specifically on marriage, singles and engaged couples are also invited to participate.

Cost is $10 per person. You can pay with check at one of our gathering times or at the event. Click here if you’d like to pay online. If you haven’t already registered for online giving, select the “Quick Give” option, enter the total amount and select Marriage Weekend in the “To:” category.

For the past 3 years at REALITY, I have greatly enjoyed the opportunity to share with our church family one of my fondest childhood memories- a Service of Darkness. For those who have never had the chance to experience a Good Friday service, let me explain. In its essence, this hour long service is a chance to tell the story- the story about Jesus.  Using candles, I will retell the events of Jesus’ birth, life, and earthly ministry leading up to his final moments on the cross. As people come to join Jesus and His ministry, more and more candles will be lit.  And then, as people turn and walk away, all the candles will be extinguished. Concluding with His final words on the cross, the service will end, the “Jesus” candle will be put out, and the service will end in darkness and silence.

Come join us at either 6:00 PM or 7:30 PM to remember the life and death of our Savior. Childcare will be provided downstairs for ages birth-5 years old. Trust me, it’s a story that will forever change your celebration of Easter.

Saturday March 31 from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM we will be joining hundreds of men from churches across Thurston County for a day of teaching and worship at the Washington Center.  The main speaker will be Gayle Erwin, author of The Jesus Style, who will be helping us live out our calling to live as godly men who serve others.

Tickets for the event can be purchased from the Washington Center or at any of Reality’s gatherings from Steve Sleasman for $20 (plus a canned food item to be brought to the event). Cost of admission includes lunch and proceeds/canned food from the event will go to Care Net, Union Gospel Mission, Safe Place and the Thurston County Food Bank.
